Associate Members of the society will receive a CD-ROM fitting guide to Orthokeratology, as well as being able to participate in future training courses and meetings organised by the society. 
A member who then wishes to become  accredited in the technique needs to submit five case records for peer review.
Upon becoming an accredited member of the society, the practitioner will be promoted as an accredited orthokeratologist.

In applying for membership I confirm that

  1. I have read and understand the Constitution of the society and am prepared to be bound by its rules.
  2. I require a proposer and seconder drawn from the membership of the society.
  3. I understand that ACCREDITED MEMBERSHIP shall be dependant upon meeting the requirements of the society.
  4. I understand that it is essential to have a Corneal Topographer and have received appropriate training before undertaking Orthokeratology.  
    I will not perform the technique and remain a member of the society unless I have satisfied these requirements.
  5. I  understand that applications for membership may be rejected by the committee and that no explanation need be given.
  6. All publicity queries relating to BOKS shall be referred in the first instances to the Press and Public Relations Officer of the Society or Secretary.
  7. A membership list will be available to all paid up members of the society.
    My name and details will appear on this list unless I specifically request that it is removed.
  8. Joining and first years membership fee is £100.00
